Day 23

Artichoke Bruschetta

Grabbed a tub of this at the grocery store. When I opened it, I didn’t think I’d like it. Is it supposed to be grayish? And what was that smell? But I slapped it on some Italian bread and coated it with a couple of slices of mozzarella (my most-loved cheese) and popped it in the oven. And it was good. A shot of freshness in the gooey, garlicy goodness. It tasted a little like cabbage, which is fine by this Polish-American girl.
