Cheese Ravioli

I’ve eaten (and enjoyed) plenty of meat-filled pasta, but always avoided cheese ravioli. (There’s nothing appetizing about ricotta — a creamy, curdy mess.) And I’ve never had ravioli shaped like Mickey Mouse, either, so this was a double new food. It was in the kids’ section of a buffet at Walt Disney World (family vacation, you know), but I’m not above elbowing my way into a crowd of preschoolers for a cartoon-character-themed meal. And because it was meant for fussy youngsters, Mickey went easy on the cheese. Turns out I can handle a dab of ricotta, as long as it’s pillowed in giant pasta ears.
