At first taste, these were a bit disturbing. I don’t mind a touch of wasabi on a dish, but a completely encrusted nugget is another thing entirely. Once I got past that, though, everything was rosy. I love peas — always have. Used to nick them from my grandpa’s garden when I was a tot. Then he’d come stomping up and pretend to be mad at me. Or maybe he wasn’t pretending. Didn’t matter. I had a free pass from Grandma. And that trumps a grumpy grandpa any day.
