Wasn’t crazy about trying this. Don’t like pie. Don’t like strawberries. Ambivalent toward rhubarb. But I make at least one of these a year. (I feel guilty if I don’t use at least some of our rhubarb crop. Besides, my husband is a huge fan.) And so, since there was a fresh-baked specimen in front of me, I figured I might as well choke down a bite. And it wasn’t the nightmare I expected. Not half bad, even. Probably due to my mad pie-making skills.
