Zucchini Flowers

Another fun food try from my growing garden. I didn’t want to attempt anything complicated like stuffed zucchini flowers, so I stuck with deep-frying. Again. Does it negate any health benefits of having a garden if you deep-fry everything that comes out of it?

These were good, but all I could really taste was salt, pepper and garlic. (I added garlic to the rather bland-sounding recipe.) So I’m not really sure if zucchini flowers have much taste of their own, or if they’re just a really pretty vehicle for other flavors.
